I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from The Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University and over the past 20 years have worked individually and in groups with children, adolescents and adults. Specializing in relieving depression and anxiety, deeply resolving grief, loss and trauma, and applying psychological first aid in crisis situations, I bring to my clinical work a wide variety of therapeutic techniques designed to enrich and strengthen each person’s inherent health, well-being and power.
I have pioneered applying mindfulness-based methods in many therapeutic settings over the past 15 years. I have engaged children, adolescents, adults, teachers, and corporate leaders in individual and group mindfulness – meditation practices designed to awaken the mind’s natural health at: University of Pennsylvania, Swarthmore College, Philadelphia Federal Detention Center, Garnet Valley School District, GlaxcoSmithKline, Mariana Bracetti Academy (charter school in Kensington, Philadelphia), Temple University, Cape Cod Institute, Philips Health Care Corporation and The Mindful Leadership Conference in New Delhi, India.
As a trained yoga instructor, a certified meditation instructor and certified Mind Body Medicine therapist, I am delighted to bring these cutting edge methods to my work to help clients embrace a personal path to healing and renewed psychological health.
